I'm a personal trainer and the founder of Mellows Fitness

Level 2, Gym Instructor.

 

Level  3, Personal Trainer.

SSE (Strength Symmetry Evaluation ) Certified.

UKSCA Strength & Conditioning trained.

I coach a number of clients of many ages. I previously worked at a secondary school supporting children with physical & learning difficulties, where I would work with them individually in the school gym helping them develop their coordination & strength. I discovered a love for working on a 1-2-1 basis with them and it confirmed to me that I wanted to pursue a career as a coach, where I could combine the skills I’d learned at the school in conjunction with my love of strength training.

Technical support

Having played football at a good level, and then having to stop completely due to ongoing knee problems, I have an understanding of the importance of proper resistance training. I’ve had much success working with distance runners, and helping them prepare for their half & full marathons. Also, I’m happy to say that I train a number of clients who are 60 plus and also 70 plus. I’ve really loved putting together the appropriate training for my clients and they’re living proof of what a well thought out program can do as well as some good laughs along the way. I offer both person-to-person and online sessions. I also offer my clients ongoing weekly check-ins for additional support. In these we can discuss challenges and progress.

My clients and I draw up a programme together depending on their needs and personal goals, so that the work we do is tailor made for them. Here are two sets of before and after pics of a client I have worked with for about eighteen months. This is an older client who wanted to lose weight and improve his general fitness. I like to form a good working relationship with my clients so that we can work together to achieve their specific goals.
